Some days it feels impossible to fit all of your daily responsibilities into 24 hours. Between work and kids, family and friends, who has an extra two or three hours to spend at the gym?

No one.

Our small group personal training saves you time and money by creating a workout team that makes it possible to get quality results without spending countless hours (by yourself) at the gym.

Each member of the group gets personal coaching and instruction in a social environment. Our trainers keep everyone working on their own goals in a motivated group setting. Now you can get the best of both worlds with the socialization you want and while getting the workout you need.

Our Approach to Small Group Personal Training

We like to think of our small group fitness classes as a party disguised as a workout. We work on areas of strength, mobility, movement, conditioning, strength training, and fat loss while having fun.

This is perfect for those who prefer a more social experience while still getting the personal touch of individualized fitness coaching.

Our small group fitness sessions are a hybrid between personal training and boot camps. You get the individual attention you need with the social aspect of a large group class. You share your training session with up to 3 other people who have similar goals and are of a similar age and fitness range.

One on One vs. Semi-Private Personal Training

We provide individual attention in both our semi-private and private personal training options. However, your experience will be significantly different. Choosing the best one depends on your answers to three key questions:

1. Do you like to work out alone?

If you are self-conscious about your fitness level, abilities, goals, or simply prefer to work out alone, one-on-one sessions are a better choice.

If the thought of being alone with a personal trainer is intimidating or scary, and having others around makes you feel more comfortable, go for the semi-private sessions.

The benefit of semi-private over a boot camp style class is that it is a smaller, more intimate setting than a boot camp, while still getting you the individual attention you want without having to try and keep up with a large group session.

2. How much time do you have?

Personal training sessions are 30 minutes while semi-private sessions are one hour. Because the trainer is only working with one individual, he or she can give you all the information, tips, and advice you need in 30 minutes (or less).

When we have 4 people in a session, it takes a little bit longer to give everyone equal attention. If you’re short on time, get the most out of a thirty-minute personal session.

3. Are you looking for a social outlet?

Whether you bring in a group of friends or show up to join as an individual, a semi-private personal training session gives you the benefits of socializing while you workout.

Having the benefits of workout buddies also increases your support network and accountability from other members. It’s a great way to spend time with those you love or meet some new friends in the area.

“The level of expertise and focus here is unlike anything else I have ever experienced. Each coach truly cares for their client. I have gotten back in shape and formed amazing friendships.”

The First Day Of Your Body Transformation

On your first day, you will receive a comprehensive orientation and introduction to fitness training and the Everyday Athletes gym. We analyze your past history, present conditions, and future goals including a full movement assessment to find any muscle imbalances. Some of the things we observe are:

Workout History

Tell us about your past experiences with physical activity. Did you play sports in school, do you current do yoga but never lifted weights, or are you totally new to this whole working out thing?

Health History

Tell us about your current and past health. Have you had any surgeries, illnesses or even just seasonal allergies that might impact your physical ability?

Past and Current Injuries

We want to keep you safe so letting us know about any current or past pain is essential. Have you had to see a physical therapist or chiropractor? Do you tend to feel sore in the same places after activity? Does it hurt when you move a certain way?

Current Mobility

Flexibility and strength go hand in hand. We note your current mobility and find ways to improve this.

Motivation

This is probably the most important thing to learn about you! Results only come if you keep at it and we want to learn how to make that happen. Do you have an event you want to lose weight for or just want to be able to keep up with your kids? Do you respond more to positive thinking or need someone to be your drill sergeant?

Bod Pod

Next, we perform an initial Bod Pod test to get you a baseline for tracking progress. Knowing your current body fat to lean mass ratio gives you an even fuller picture of your progress than just your knowing your starting weight.

Meal Plan

All orientations include getting a custom meal plan to take the guesswork out of what to eat. Do you like to cook? Only know how to use a microwave? Vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free? All these details come into play when finding the right meal plan for you.

Mobile App

Before the end of your session, we’ll get you setup with a personalized app so you can track your workouts and meals.

What’s Included with Your Group Training Sessions

Because our fitness plans are completely unique and personalized, our pricing is based on how many days a week you will have group personal training sessions. With your membership price, you get:

Why Small Group Fitness Is for You?

Decrease Time and Increase Results: Getting the most out of your time at the gym is all about efficiency. You don’t have to dedicate hours to your fitness goals to get results. With highly efficient 60-minute sessions and professional guidance, you can burn just as many calories and meet your goals faster.

Decrease Excuses and Increase Accountability: Accountability is a huge part of staying healthy and active. Group programs are generally effective because of the accountability of the other members. Whether you want to bring your crew, your girlfriends, your siblings, or your children, it is a lot harder to slack off when you have the support of other members rallying around you.

Don’t Get Lost In The Crowd: Traditional boot camps tend to have large numbers of people doing the same exercises to burn calories. They are typically overcrowded, generalized, and it’s easy to take a back seat and get lost in the crowd. Our semi-private environment takes the benefits of group classes, brings it into a smaller setting and adds personal attention to make sure each person is doing exactly what he or she needs and not wasting time by doing exercises that are ineffective or risky.

If you want a way to spend time with your friends and get a great workout in, small group fitness is the perfect choice. Now you don’t have to choose between hanging out with friends or family and going to the gym, you can make your workout a social experience that is fun, energizing, and effective. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? Now you can with small group personal training!
